How to apply

  • Download the English SNAP/Cash combined application, or ask a local SNAP office for a copy and help. Return the application to the certification office.
  • You can establish the application date with your name, address, and signature. The office schedules an interview and tells you which verification to provide.
  • The application states a 30-day decision period, or 7 days for qualifying expedited SNAP cases. An ineligible parent may apply for eligible children.
