Virginia Easy Access, No Wrong Door, Area Agencies on Aging, and 211 Resource Navigation¶
Virginia caregivers can use Virginia Easy Access, No Wrong Door Virginia, Area Agencies on Aging, VirginiaNavigator-linked service finders, and 211 Virginia to find aging, disability, caregiver, respite, long-term services and supports, in-home services, transportation, meals, Medicare counseling, housing, food, health care, and community resource referrals.
Virginia Easy Access says Virginia has 25 Area Agencies on Aging that serve every county and city and help older Virginians, caregivers, and families with accessing long-term care, Medicare plan navigation, congregate meals, home-delivered meals, nutrition education and counseling, and caregiver respite grants. Virginia Easy Access offers a Service Finder and a 24/7 toll-free support line with language interpretation. DARS says No Wrong Door provides all Virginians with accessible information, person-centered support, and streamlined access to Virginia's statewide network of public and private service providers, with special focus on older adults, people with disabilities, veterans, caregivers, and their communities. DARS says No Wrong Door operates through Virginia's statewide network of 25 Area Agencies on Aging and provides Virginia Easy Access, Direct Connect, Service Finders, and Communication, Referral, Information and Assistance technology. 211 Virginia is a free, confidential service available 24/7, 365 days a year, connecting people throughout the Commonwealth with housing, food, health care, and other community resources by resource search, phone, live chat, email intake, and text.
