Consumer direction is a service-delivery option for participants in Tennessee’s Comprehensive Aggregate Cap, Statewide, and Self-Determination 1915(c) waivers. Participants or their representatives manage eligible services with support from their coordinator and fiscal employer agent.

Eligible 1915(c) waiver participants may direct Personal Assistance, Respite, and Individual/Community Transportation. Ask the Independent Support Coordinator or DDA Case Manager about assessed need, the service budget, and employer duties.
