South Carolina Individual and Family Support and Respite — Respite Funding¶
Limited respite funds help eligible families pay for relief from direct caregiving when the family and other resources cannot cover the need.
Short-term respite assistance is available subject to program eligibility and limited funds. People enrolled in a Medicaid HCBS waiver and several other care settings are excluded. Ask the case manager about the current application and available funds.
