Oregon ADRC, Area Agencies on Aging, and 211info Resource Navigation¶
Oregon caregivers can use the Aging and Disability Resource Connection of Oregon, Area Agencies on Aging, local Aging and People with Disabilities offices, and 211info to find aging, disability, long-term services and supports, caregiver, in-home care, benefits, transportation, food, housing, utility, legal, and community resource referrals.
Oregon Department of Human Services says Oregon's Aging and Disability Resource Connection helps people of all ages, incomes, and disabilities learn about long-term support options in their communities, and helps individuals, families, and professionals find resources for current or future long-term needs. ODHS lists the statewide ADRC phone number as 855-ORE-ADRC (855-673-2372), and its older-adult services page says ADRC trained staff can talk with users about their situation. ODHS says Oregon has 16 Area Agencies on Aging that administer and support community-based care services for older adults, usually through community service providers. ODHS long-term care guidance routes people to ADRC for help with local options and describes in-home supports such as personal care, housekeeping, meal preparation, home-delivered meals, chore services, adult day services, assistive technology, home modifications, and support for unpaid family caregivers. 211info offers an online search, contact center, and mobile app for community resources; its website lists call 211 or 866-698-6155 for additional assistance and categories including housing and shelter, utility assistance, food, basic needs, health care, transportation, legal, financial wellness, diverse populations, and disaster services.
