New Hampshire Family Caregiver Support Program

New Hampshire's Family Caregiver Support Program supports unpaid family and informal caregivers through the Bureau of Adult and Aging Services and the ServiceLink Aging and Disability Resource Center network. Services include information and referral, caregiver needs assessment and options assistance, counseling, support groups, training, respite, and limited supplemental supports.

New Hampshire provides a multifaceted support system for family caregivers and older relative caregivers through the National Family Caregiver Support Program, the Bureau of Adult and Aging Services, and ServiceLink ADRCs. Services include information about community programs and local resources, assistance assessing caregiving needs and accessing providers, individual counseling, support groups, caregiver education and training, short-term respite for eligible full-time unpaid caregivers, and limited supplemental services such as chore services, assistive equipment, home modifications, and transportation.
