North Dakota Aging and Disability Resource-LINK and 211 Resource Navigation¶
North Dakota caregivers can use Aging and Disability Resource-LINK, CareChoice, Adult and Aging Services, the Family Caregiver Support Program intake path, and FirstLink 211 to find aging, disability, caregiver, long-term services and supports, home and community-based services, qualified service providers, respite, caregiver support, community resources, health and human services, and crisis-support referrals.
North Dakota Health and Human Services says Adult and Aging Services supports older adults and adults with physical disabilities to live independently in their own homes and communities if they choose. HHS identifies Aging and Disability Resource-LINK as the place to get connected to services and find information, and lists the ADRL toll-free number 1-855-462-5465, TTY 711, and carechoice@nd.gov. HHS Adult and Aging Services says people can get help finding in-home and community services and supports through the Aging and Disability Resource online database, toll-free phone, TTY, or email. HHS lists services and pathways including Family Caregiver Support Program, Lifespan Respite Care, home and community-based care, Information and Assistance through Aging and Disability Resource, MDS Section Q local contact agency referral and discharge planning, Long-Term Care Ombudsman, and Qualified Service Provider database. The North Dakota Family Caregiver Support Program page routes local caregiver services through ND Aging and Disability Resource-LINK and the online CareChoice path. FirstLink maintains a community-resource database of nonprofit, health and human services, and government resources, answers the 211 helpline, provides confidential referrals to resources and help across the entire state of North Dakota, and can be reached by dialing 211, 701-235-SEEK, or texting a ZIP code to 898-211.
