How to apply

  • Apply online through MarylandBenefits or file with a local Department of Social Services by mail, fax, or in person.

  • The office reviews the application for expedited SNAP. Eligible households normally receive benefits within 30 days; qualifying expedited cases can receive them within 7 days.
