Hawaii ADRC and 211 Resource Navigation

Hawaii caregivers can use the State Executive Office on Aging Aging and Disability Resource Center, county Area Agencies on Aging, and Aloha United Way 211 to find local long-term supports, caregiver services, disability services, kupuna care, food, shelter, financial assistance, housing, utilities, transportation, health services, crisis resources, and other referrals.

The Hawaii Aging and Disability Resource Center helps older adults, individuals with disabilities, and family caregivers find options for long-term supports and services in Hawaii. The Executive Office on Aging coordinates the statewide aging and family caregiver support system and works with the four county Area Agencies on Aging. The ADRC help request can route people to county resources for adult day care, caregiver respite, case management, meals, homemaker services, housing assistance, information and assistance, personal care, transportation, and related needs. Aloha United Way 211 provides a free statewide information and referral helpline and online search for resources such as food, shelter, financial assistance, kupuna care, disability services, veteran services, crisis support, legal and financial assistance, and SNAP prescreening.
