Connecticut National Family Caregiver Support Program¶
The Connecticut National Family Caregiver Support Program connects eligible family and informal caregivers with local Area Agencies on Aging for information and service navigation, respite, training, support groups, and possible limited supplemental services. Individual service availability and any income or needs criteria can vary.
Local Area Agencies on Aging connect caregivers to information and local resources; services may include respite, caregiver training, support groups, and limited help with items or services not otherwise covered.
Eligibility¶
- Applicant age: at least 18
- Must live with care recipient
- Relationship: spouse, child, grandparent, other relative, non relative
